What I stand for
These are the core priorities that guide my decision making and my commitment to the Kirkwood School District.
PRIORITY
Students at the center
Every student deserves to feel supported, safe, and prepared for life after graduation. I will advocate for strong academics, opportunities for every learner, and student wellbeing.
PRIORITY
Transparent leadership
Clear communication, accountability, and decisions made with community input and trust. I believe families and staff deserve clarity on what’s happening, why, and what comes next.
PRIORITY
Responsible stewardship
Fiscal responsibility means honoring taxpayer dollars, planning ahead, and keeping focus on student outcomes. I support smart budgeting and long term financial stability.
PRIORITY
Support and retention for staff
Great schools are built by great educators and staff. I support strategies that help recruit, support, and retain strong teachers and staff across the district.
PRIORITY
Safe schools and belonging
Students learn best when they feel safe and included. I support a culture of respect, consistent expectations, and partnerships that strengthen safety and student support.
PRIORITY
Community partnership
Kirkwood is strongest when schools and community work together. I will listen, collaborate, and build bridges with families, staff, students, and community members.
